Quote of the Week by Stephen Shore

Stephen Shore is legendary for reworking parts of mundane environments into topics of thought-provoking meditation. The photographs might appear banal however subtly suggest a deep-seeded which means. Shore is self-taught and a pioneer in color images and the 8 x 10 layout. He has been the Director of Bard College of Photography since 1982. Books of his paintings come with Uncommon Places: The Complete Works, Essex County, and a number of other others.
